Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant I.K., who came to the Kahta district of Adıyaman on leave, injured two of his brothers-in-law after an argument for an undetermined reason. In the ensuing fight, I.K. hit G.C.S. with a car and shot S.S. with a firearm. Among the injured, who were taken to Kahta State Hospital by medical teams dispatched to the scene, S.S., who was in critical condition, was transferred to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital. Suspect I.K. was taken into custody by police teams.
In the Kahta district of Adıyaman, a specialist sergeant who was on leave seriously injured two of his brothers-in-law after an argument for reasons yet unknown. The suspect specialist sergeant ran over one of his brothers-in-law with his car and shot the other with a pistol, leaving him severely wounded.

According to received information, Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant İ.K., who was serving in the Pazarcık district of Kahramanmaraş and had come to his hometown Kahta district of Adıyaman on leave, started arguing with his brothers-in-law G.C.S. and S.S. in the middle of the street. As the argument escalated, İ.K. lost his temper, got behind the wheel of his car, and deliberately struck his brother-in-law G.C.S. at high speed. His anger unabated, the specialist sergeant then drew his service pistol and fired a hail of bullets at his other brother-in-law, S.S.
ONE OF THE INJURED IS IN SERIOUS CONDITION
Upon notification by nearby citizens, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial medical intervention at the scene by health teams, the injured were taken by ambulance to Kahta State Hospital. Among them, S.S., who was in serious condition, was later transferred to Adıyaman Training and Research Hospital following initial treatment. It was learned that S.S.'s life remains in danger.
Following the incident, Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant İ.K., who attempted to flee, was quickly apprehended by police teams and taken into custody. A comprehensive investigation into the incident is ongoing.
