Following the detection of foot-and-mouth disease in cattle in the Çal district of Denizli, a quarantine has been implemented in a total of 19 neighborhoods. Animal entry and exit have been prohibited, and only transportation to the nearest slaughterhouse for slaughter purposes is permitted.

19 NEIGHBORHOODS PLACED UNDER QUARANTINE
Following the detection of the disease in cattle in the Hüseyinler and Dayılar neighborhoods, a comprehensive quarantine decision was made by the Çal District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry. In addition to these two neighborhoods, the following neighborhoods have also been placed under quarantine: Selcen, Yeşilyurt, İsmailler, Alfaklar, Hançalar, Akkent, Sazak, Şapçılar, Kaplanlar, Kocaköy, Aşağıseyit, Yukarıseyit, Mahmutgazi, İsabey, Yazır, Gelinören, and Süller, where all animal entries and exits have been completely halted. Only transfers to the nearest slaughterhouse for slaughtering purposes can be carried out with permission obtained from the district directorate.
WARNING TO PRODUCERS
The District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry has warned producers to be cautious, take necessary precautions, and immediately report to the authorities if symptoms such as excessive salivation, limping, or mouth sores are observed in animals. Vaccination, disinfection, and control efforts are being carried out continuously in the region to prevent the spread of the disease.
