In the new guidelines published by the agency, citizens are urged to be prepared for threats such as cyber attacks, disinformation, and sabotage. "BEING PREPARED ALWAYS PROVIDES AN ADVANTAGE" The office stated that they are a safe country, but the changing global conditions have brought new threats to the forefront. BBK President Ralph Tiesler emphasized the importance of preparedness, stating, "Being prepared in advance always provides an advantage."
WAYS TO FOLLOW IN CASES OF EXPLOSIONS, SABOTAGE, AND ATTACKS The guide published by the BBK explains the steps to be taken in cases of explosions, sabotage, or attacks targeting city centers. The guide also includes methods for protection against disinformation and suggestions to strengthen psychological resilience in emergencies.
ADVICE TO THE PUBLIC TO "STOCK UP ON FOOD FOR 3 TO 10 DAYS" The guide states that war is "no longer a distant possibility" compared to a few years ago, advising citizens to keep a food stock for 3 to 10 days.
In Germany, the last guides published in 1990 did not include military threat scenarios. However, the new booklet explicitly addresses hybrid threats such as cyberattacks, disinformation campaigns, sabotage, and war risks for the first time.
