ELDERLY WOMAN LOSES LIFE IN HOSPITAL
In Yeşiltepe Neighborhood, Tepebaşı district, the light commercial vehicle with license plate 06 BUT 462, driven in reverse by Y.P., hit Ayşe Portakal. Portakal, trapped under the vehicle, was severely injured. Upon reports from bystanders, a medical team was dispatched to the scene. After first aid, Ayşe Portakal was taken to Yunus Emre State Hospital. However, Portakal succumbed to her injuries despite all efforts by doctors.
DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
The driver, Y.P., was taken into custody by police. After a medical check-up, Y.P. was taken to the police station for questioning.
