The armed conflict between two hostile groups in Bursa's Osmangazi district was captured second by second by security cameras. It was revealed that the person seriously injured in the conflict opened fire first.
In the Osmangazi district of Bursa, two individuals with a long-standing feud opened fire on each other in the middle of the street. The incident occurred in Fatih Mahallesi, Osmangazi district, where O.D. and F.D., known to have a previous feud, confronted each other on the street. The armed clash that followed the tension between the two groups was recorded moment by moment by nearby security cameras.
THE SERIOUSLY INJURED PERSON FIRED FIRST
In the footage reflected on the security camera, O.D. is seen following F.D., who is walking in front of him, with a gun in his hand and firing repeatedly from behind. F.D., the target of the bullets, quickly turned around and returned fire at O.D. with his own weapon. In the duel in the middle of the street, O.D., struck by bullets, collapsed to the ground covered in blood, causing great panic and moments of fear in the neighborhood.
THE INJURED PERSON'S LIFE THREAT CONTINUES
Upon the notification of neighborhood residents who heard the gunshots, numerous police and 112 Emergency Health teams were dispatched to the scene. O.D., determined to be seriously injured, was taken to the hospital by ambulance after initial medical intervention at the scene. According to the latest information from the hospital, O.D.'s life-threatening condition continues.
THE FLEEING SUSPECT WAS ARRESTED SHORTLY AFTER
Crime scene investigation teams, who cordoned off the area, seized numerous empty casings and a pistol on the street. Following the armed clash, the fleeing suspect F.D. was quickly apprehended with the weapon, the instrument of the crime, by Bursa Police Department teams and taken into custody. After his procedures at the police station, F.D. was referred to the courthouse and subsequently arrested by the court and sent to prison.
According to information obtained from police sources, it was learned that there was a chronic long-standing feud between the parties due to different previous armed incidents.
