Weather temperatures and extreme weather events continue in Europe. In Portugal, temperatures have exceeded 40 degrees, accompanied by massive rolling clouds and severe storms, as the country battles record heat and wildfires. In northern Italy, heavy rainfall has led to flooding disasters. In England, the expected temperature is 36 degrees. In London, a fire alarm at a subway station is believed to have been triggered by the extreme heat.

Hot weather and rare weather events continue in Europe. In Portugal, temperatures have risen above 40 degrees, while rare giant "roll clouds" have appeared in the sky. Holidaymakers reported seeing a large wall of clouds that covered the sky and darkened everything on the beach.

Meteorological officials explained that these clouds formed from the combination of air masses at different temperatures and sea breezes. Recently, severe storms, hail, and sudden downpours have also been observed in Portugal. The country is struggling with a record temperature of 46.6 degrees for June on Sunday, while also trying to cope with the wildfires that have broken out.

In northern Italy, excessive rainfall has led to a major flood disaster. In the town of Bardonecchia in the Piedmont region, a 70-year-old man named Franco Chiaffrini was swept away by floodwaters and lost his life. Eyewitnesses reported that the man was caught in the current and that firefighters found his body a few hours later. Local authorities have dubbed this sudden rainfall a "water bomb."

At the same time, wildfires, landslides, and storm damage are being experienced across Europe. In England, temperatures are expected to rise to 36 degrees today. London experienced a hot day on Monday with a temperature of 33.1 degrees, marking the hottest start in the history of the Wimbledon tennis tournament.

This morning, a fire alarm at the South Kensington subway station in the capital caused some subway lines to stop. The train driver announced that the fire was most likely caused by the extreme heat.
