The incident occurred at around 10:00 at a car rental office located on Mustafa Kemal Paşa Boulevard in the Yeşil Neighborhood of Kocasinan district. Business owner Emrullah G. poured alcohol-based gel fuel, used in restaurants to keep food warm, over the pellets to light the pellet stove. At that moment, an explosion occurred in the stove.
