FIGHT BROKE OUT AFTER INSULTING THE MUHTAR
The incident occurred in the 2000 Evler Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, C.Ö. and C.Ö. started drinking alcohol in the park where the 2000 Neighborhood Muhtarlığı is located. After a while, the two young men saw the neighborhood muhtar and began to insult muhtar Tuncay Bozkurt, asking, "Why are the lights in this park not on?"
3 PEOPLE INJURED WITH A KNIFE
After the argument, the muhtar's son, Ş.B., who arrived at the scene, also got involved in the dispute. The argument soon escalated into a fight. The parties attacked each other with a knife they had brought. In the fight, C.Ö., C.Ö., and Ş.B. were injured. Upon the notification of nearby citizens, a large number of health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The three injured individuals were taken to various hospitals in the city for treatment.
Neighborhood muhtar Tuncay Bozkurt stated in his remarks, "Friends started to argue with me about why the light of this park is not on. Then they began to insult and threaten me, saying, 'We will destroy this place, we will break your windows and frames.'"
Teams have started an investigation regarding the incident.
