In the Hayrabolu district of Tekirdağ, 2 people died and 3 were injured in a collision between a truck and a car.
A traffic accident occurred on the Hayrabolu-Alpullu road in Tekirdağ's Hisar District. According to the information obtained, a truck with license plate 59 ACA 897, driven by H.G. (42), heading towards Hayrabolu, collided with a car with license plate 16 JDS 04, driven by B.K. (20), exiting from an intersection onto the main road.
TAKEN UNDER TREATMENT
Following the severe collision, the car, which spun out and was wrecked, left the driver B.K. (20) and passengers F.K. (73), E.K. (3), Ü.K. (33), and V.K. (70) injured. Upon notification by witnesses, numerous fire brigade, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the area. The injured, trapped in the vehicle, were extracted by fire brigade teams. After initial interventions at the scene, the 5 injured were taken to Hayrabolu State Hospital by ambulances for treatment.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE ACCIDENT
Among the injured taken to Hayrabolu State Hospital, Ü.K. (33) and V.K. (70) could not be saved despite all medical interventions and lost their lives. It was reported that the treatment of the other injured continues at the hospital. The Hayrabolu-Alpullu road, where traffic had been controlled on a single lane for a while due to the accident, was reopened to traffic after the wrecked vehicle was towed away. A comprehensive investigation launched by gendarmerie teams into the accident continues.
