In the investigation regarding the apartment fire in Diyarbakır, which resulted in the death of a mother and her three children, a construction engineer has also been detained. Thus, the number of arrests related to the incident has risen to five.

The investigation launched by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding the fire that broke out the day before yesterday in the apartment located on 566th Street in the Fırat Neighborhood of the central Kayapınar district, which resulted in the death of 4 people, is ongoing.

As part of the investigation, a construction engineer has also been detained. Thus, the number of those arrested has increased to 5. The procedures of the suspects at the police station are continuing.

Following the fire that broke out the day before yesterday in the 13-story apartment on 566th Street in the Fırat Neighborhood, 17 people were taken to the hospital, among whom mother Bircan Çavdar (36) and her children Yunus Emre (12), Elif (10), and Zeynep (4) lost their lives. As part of the investigation, the contractor, manager, site chief, and building inspection officer of the building were detained yesterday.
