As part of a drug investigation targeting celebrities, Hamdi Burak Beşer, the owner of Momo restaurants, businessman Mahmut Uğur Ziylan, model Melisa Fidan Çalışkan, and social media influencer Melisa Şahin, among 15 suspects, tested positive for drugs. Cocaine was detected in the blood of these individuals.
A new development has occurred in the drug investigation involving celebrities. The drug test results of 15 famous individuals came back positive.
15 INDIVIDUALS' DRUG TEST RESULTS POSITIVE
Hamdi Burak Beşer, the owner of Momo restaurants, Mahmut Uğur Ziylan, a member of the FLO Board of Directors, model Melisa Fidan Çalışkan, and social media influencer Melisa Şahin, along with 15 other suspects, tested positive for cocaine.
The other names include; Erdi Çetin, Uğur Can Peker, Nurdan Çokçalışkan, Burak Kaptan, Müzeyyen Karakan, Murat Can Şirin, Yağmur Uçkun, Atilla Aydın, Ozan Kılıç, Esra Yoldaş Balcı, and Yılmaz Burak Bozkurt, whose hair and blood samples were found to contain cocaine.
22 PEOPLE HAD BEEN DETAINED
As part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 22 suspects were detained for crimes including 'manufacturing and trafficking of narcotic substances', 'providing special places, equipment, or materials to facilitate the use of narcotic or stimulant substances, and taking measures to make it difficult for users to be caught', 'purchasing, accepting, or possessing narcotic or stimulant substances for use, or using narcotic or stimulant substances', and 'promoting prostitution'. A simultaneous operation was carried out by the Istanbul Police Department in Istanbul, Muğla, Adana, and Antalya against individuals who had search and seizure warrants issued against them.
In the coordinated operation, Hamdi Burak Beşer, Mahmut Uğur Ziylan, Erdi Çetin, Uğur Can Peker, Melisa Şahin, İhsan Aygün, Melissa Fidan Çalışkan, Nuran Çokçalışkan, Burak Kaptan, Müzeyyen Karakan, Murat Can Şirin, Yağmur Uçkun, Atilla Aydın, Ozan Kılıç, Esra Yoldaş Balcı, Semavi Siverek, Ercan Siverek, Mehmet Tosmur, Halime Göçmen, and Yılmaz Burak Bozkurt were detained.
17 SUSPECTS HAD BEEN ARRESTED
During the searches conducted at the addresses of the detained individuals, cocaine, marijuana, and devices used for consuming drugs were seized. After the completion of the procedures at the police station, they were referred to the courthouse. After completing their statements at the prosecutor's office, 17 of the suspects brought before the duty magistrate were arrested, while judicial control measures were applied to the other suspects.
