FIRE BROKE OUT IN A DETACHED HOUSE
The fire broke out around 1:30 PM in the detached house owned by Mustafa Kaya on Gençlik Street in the Göl neighborhood of the district. Fire and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification from the surrounding residents. The fire was extinguished with the intervention of the fire department.
MOTHER-IN-LAW AND DAUGHTER-IN-LAW PERISHED
It was determined that bedridden patient Zeynep Kaya and her daughter-in-law Tuğba Kaya lost their lives due to smoke inhalation. The lifeless bodies of Zeynep and Tuğba Kaya were taken to the morgue of Vezirköprü State Hospital for autopsy. The house has become uninhabitable, and an investigation into the fire is ongoing.
