A decision has been made regarding the individuals detained in a drug operation targeting famous names in Istanbul. Among them, 8 people, including former referee Elif Karaarslan, were arrested by the court they were brought before.
As part of the 'Drug' investigation targeting celebrities, a search was conducted at a business operating as a restaurant and entertainment venue in Beşiktaş. While teams searched 2 more entertainment venues, 19 people were detained.
DRUG INVESTIGATION TARGETING CELEBRITIES
As part of the 'Drug' investigation conducted by the Istanbul Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a search warrant was issued for an entertainment venue located on Beşiktaş Cevdet Paşa Street. Teams from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department conducted a search at the business after the warrant. The teams left the premises after the search operations.

On the other hand, teams from the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department also searched two more entertainment venues on Etiler Nisbetiye Street. The searches conducted with narcotics dogs continued for a long time.
19 PEOPLE DETAINED
On the other hand, as part of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Republic Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 17 people were detained in Istanbul. Among the names detained are Samet Demirok, Özlem Parlu, Oğuz Sarıpınar, Elif Karaarslan, Ali Yaşar Koz, Cansel Ayanoğlu, Aleyna Bozok, Büşranur Çakır, Özgür Gökçe, Fikret Aydoğdu, Lena Ahsen Alkan, İrem Şişman, Mustafa Eyüp Çelik, Mustafa Aksakallı, Cem Mirap, Gizem Melisa Alagöz, and Deniz Metin Yüksel. 2 more people were detained later. The number of detainees rose to 19.
SUSPECTS BROUGHT FOR HEALTH CHECK
The suspects, from whom hair, blood, and urine samples were taken at the Forensic Medicine Institute, were brought to the Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital for a health check after the procedures.
SUSPECTS REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
The 19 suspects, whose procedures at the Narcotics Crime Investigation Department and Forensic Medicine Institute were completed, underwent a health check at the Kanuni Sultan Süleyman Training and Research Hospital and were referred to the Istanbul Courthouse located in Çağlayan.
8 SUSPECTS ARRESTED
After the procedures at the Police and Forensic Medicine Institute, 8 of the 19 suspects referred to the courthouse were arrested by the court they were brought before, while 11 suspects were released under judicial control conditions. Among the suspects, Elif Karaarslan, Ali Yaşar Koz, Mustafa Eyüp Çelik, Mehmet Can Çelik, Cansel Ayanoğlu, Büşranur Çakır, Deniz Metin Yüksel, and Leha Ahsen Alkan were arrested by the On-Duty Criminal Judgeship of Peace they were brought before and sent to prison. On the other hand, 11 suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
