The incident occurred in the evening at the intercity bus terminal in Hacılar Harmanı Neighborhood. According to information obtained, a 19-year-old girl named M.K., who lived with her family in Ankara, decided to marry a young man from Aksaray whom she had been seeing for 2 years. Because her family did not want her to get married, the young girl ran away from her home today and came to Aksaray to be with the young man she wanted to marry.
A FIGHT BROKE OUT WHEN SHE CHANGED HER MIND ABOUT THE MARRIAGE
When the young girl was persuaded by her family and changed her mind about getting married, she went to the bus terminal to return to Ankara. Meanwhile, the family, who had persuaded their daughter, also got into their vehicle and came to Aksaray. When the family learned that their daughter was at the bus terminal and went there, they encountered the groom's side, leading to an argument. The argument quickly escalated into a fight, resulting in 2 people being injured.
8 PEOPLE DETAINED
Shopkeepers at the bus terminal reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, police teams were dispatched to the scene. Due to the large number of people from both sides, the public order teams that arrived at the bus terminal in a short time requested backup, and many plainclothes and official teams were directed to the area. The police quickly broke up the fight. The incident, in which 8 people, including 2 women, were detained, was prevented from escalating thanks to police intervention. It was learned that the parties filed complaints against each other, and an investigation into the incident was initiated.
