A shocking theft incident occurred in Bağcılar. Melek Yavuz tackled two female suspects who entered her home, literally flying at them and bringing them to the ground. While one of the thieves escaped, the other filed a complaint against the homeowner, claiming she was assaulted.

Yavuz came face to face with the two female thieves who entered her home in the 100. Yıl neighborhood of Bağcılar. After one of the thieves quickly grabbed a bag from the house and attempted to flee, Yavuz struggled with the suspect who was trying to rush down the stairs for a while and managed to retrieve the bag. The homeowner then brought the fleeing thief down to the ground in front of the apartment building and captured her.

SHE CAUGHT THE THIEF AND HANDED HER OVER TO THE POLICE

Yavuz handed over the thief she had caught by the hair to the police teams that arrived at the scene. The other suspect took this opportunity to quickly distance herself from the scene. The detained suspect filed a complaint against the homeowner, claiming she was assaulted. Efforts are ongoing to capture the other suspect.

Melek Yavuz's husband, Adil Yavuz, told AA reporter that when the thieves entered their home, his wife was lying in the living room while their daughter was watching television.

"MY WIFE RAN AFTER THEM"

Yavuz recounted that his wife suddenly saw a shadow in front of the apartment door, saying, "My wife first sees two women in front of her. The thieves start to run, and my wife runs after them. In fact, one of the women grabs her bag from in front of the door. She first catches one on the stairs. They struggle there, and she takes the bag from her hand. Then my wife falls."

"MY DAUGHTER COULD HAVE BEEN HOME ALONE"

Yavuz explained that the thieves began to flee again at that moment, continuing, "My wife jumps on her to catch her at the exit of the door on the stairs, and she takes a bit of a hit there. Then they call the police. Thank goodness, the police arrive at the scene immediately. They catch the thief and take her to the police station. The captured thief has filed a complaint against my wife, claiming she was assaulted. One of the suspects at the police station said, 'I came as a guest, I am pregnant,' telling various lies. The thief already had 15 criminal records. The other thief escaped. We want her to be found as well. My daughter could have been home alone. Different things could have happened."

Yavuz emphasized that the thieves opened the door with a card and that it was lucky they did not have dangerous tools in their hands, adding that his wife bravely chased the thieves.
