A dispute over yielding the way and honking in Adana's Sarıçam district turned into a fight. The horrifying moments when a driver took a saw out of his trunk and attacked were captured by a vehicle camera.
HONKING STARTED THE FIGHT
The incident occurred in the Gültepe neighborhood of Sarıçam district. According to the information obtained, 40-year-old A.H.Ş. was driving his car when he yielded to another vehicle coming out of a car wash. Meanwhile, a car driven by M.A.K. stopped on the road while making a reverse maneuver. When the vehicle in front did not move, A.H.Ş. honked his horn as a warning.
TOOK A SAW OUT OF THE TRUNK
Angered by the honking, M.A.K. got out of his vehicle and attacked A.H.Ş. During the scuffle, A.H.Ş. was injured on his lip by a punch and was caught off guard. M.A.K., whose anger did not subside, attacked again with a saw he took out of his car's trunk. The attack with the saw was prevented from turning into a disaster when another person in the vehicle intervened.
DRIVERS FILED COMPLAINTS AGAINST EACH OTHER
The tense moments in traffic were recorded second by second by the vehicle camera. Upon the report, police teams dispatched to the region initiated an investigation. The injured driver A.H.Ş., who went to the police station, filed a complaint against M.A.K. for assault, threats, and insults. M.A.K., on the other hand, filed a counter-complaint, claiming that A.H.Ş. insulted and cursed at him. An investigation into the incident has been launched.
