Upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport in the capital Tel Aviv, Modi was greeted with an official ceremony by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sara Netanyahu.

In a post on his social media account regarding the visit, Modi stated, "I have landed in Israel. I am greatly honored to be welcomed by Prime Minister Netanyahu and Mrs. Netanyahu at the airport. I look forward to having bilateral talks that will strengthen India-Israel friendship and achieving fruitful results."
