The U.S.-based news channel CNN has revealed the inhumane oppression that Israel is inflicting on innocent civilians in Gaza. In footage obtained by the channel through an Israeli Telegram account, dozens of Palestinians, including the injured, are seen sitting naked amidst the rubble.
According to a report by the American news channel CNN; Israeli soldiers forced Palestinian men to strip while evacuating Jabalia in northern Gaza and made them wait in the cold for hours.
MAJORITY NAKED AND INJURED
In the footage obtained by CNN, a large crowd of more than 200 people sitting among the rubble is mostly made up of men. While it is seen that most of the Palestinians in the frame are almost naked, some are noticeably injured.
THEY WERE FLEEING THE CAMP
Witnesses evaluating the situation stated that most of the people in this crowd were detained by Israeli soldiers while trying to escape from the Jabalia Refugee Camp. Israeli soldiers, who instructed the crowd to strip, made the Palestinians wait outside in the freezing cold for hours.
GENEVA CONVENTION REMINDER
International television reported that the Israeli occupation army refused to comment on the photo but admitted to conducting strip searches, stating that this practice violates the Geneva Convention and has been criticized by many organizations, from the United Nations to the Red Cross, and from Human Rights Watch to Amnesty International.
