In Istanbul, former referee Elif Karaarslan and influencer Cansel Ayanoğlu, who were detained and arrested in a drug operation targeting famous figures, drew attention by closing their subscriptions on their social media accounts after their arrests.
As part of the 'Drug' investigation targeting celebrities, a search was conducted at a business operating as a restaurant and entertainment venue in Beşiktaş. While teams searched two more entertainment venues, 19 people were detained.
ELİF KARAARSLAN AND CANSEL AYANOĞLU DETAINED
Among the famous names detained, it was notable that former referee Elif Karaarslan and social media phenomenon Cansel Ayanoğlu were included.
BOTH WERE ARRESTED
Following procedures at the Police and Forensic Medicine Institute, 8 of the 19 suspects referred to the courthouse were arrested by the court they were brought before, while 11 suspects were released under judicial control conditions. Among those arrested were Elif Karaarslan and Cansel Ayanoğlu.
THEY CLOSED THEIR SUBSCRIPTIONS
An interesting move came from both names after their arrests. It was seen that both individuals, who had opened subscription systems on their social media accounts and earned income through this feature, closed the subscriptions on their social media accounts after their arrests.
