Iran's state television announced that the draft text of the informal framework for a memorandum of understanding with the United States is ready. According to the draft, the management of ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz will be carried out in cooperation between Iran and Oman. Iran will return commercial maritime transportation in the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within a month. In return, the United States will withdraw its military forces around Iran and lift the naval blockade.

Iran's state television claimed that a significant stage has been reached in the contacts between Tehran and Washington. The report announced details of the first draft of an unofficial agreement prepared to end the war between the two countries.

According to the draft text, the management of ship traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most critical transit points for global energy trade, will be carried out through cooperation between Iran and Oman.

THE "AMERICAN FORCES WILL WITHDRAW" CLAUSE

According to the draft, Iran will restore commercial maritime transport in the Strait of Hormuz to pre-war levels within one month.

Another significant topic in the draft was the American military presence. According to the draft text, U.S. forces will withdraw from areas near Iran, and the naval blockade against Iran will be lifted.

60-DAY CRITICAL PROCESS

The report stated that if the parties reach a final agreement within 60 days, the plan is for the agreement to be approved as a United Nations Security Council resolution.
