A statement inviting the U.S. to ground warfare has come from Iran amid tensions between the U.S.-Israel and Iran. The Iranian army expressed that more than 1 million fighters are ready for ground warfare, saying, "We are calling out to the Hollywood army: We have been waiting for this moment for years. Come on, we are ready for you."
As tensions escalate between the US and Israel with Iran, a notable statement has emerged from the Iranian front. In a statement made on Iranian state television, the US was openly invited to engage in ground warfare.
The published message targeted the US military, stating, “We have been waiting for this moment for years. Come on, we are ready for you.” The statement also emphasized that a possible ground operation would have severe consequences for the US, saying, “You will bite your fingers in regret, you will curse yourself.”
MESSAGE OF GROUND OPERATION IN IRAN
Meanwhile, Iranian media recently reported on statements made by Ali Cihanşahi, Commander of the Iranian Army Ground Forces, regarding a possible ground operation against Iran.
Cihanşahi stated that the Iranian Army is ready to "confront the enemy," using the expression, "Ground warfare will be more dangerous and costly for the enemy."
Cihanşahi also noted that they are closely monitoring all activities of the US and Israel in the region, stating that a possible ground war would have "irreparable" consequences.
Iranian media, citing military sources, reported that more than one million armed personnel have been organized for a potential ground war with the US and that full preparations have been made against all types of attack scenarios.
IRAN: MORE THAN 1 MILLION FIGHTERS READY FOR GROUND WAR
Additionally, a senior military source speaking to Iranian media issued stern warnings to the US, highlighting the readiness level of the Iranian army. The source stated that a possible American intervention would result in disaster.
The military official stated, "With the increasing predictions of the US launching a ground war from Iran's southern front, which would be a historic folly, a wave of great enthusiasm has emerged among our ground forces. Our fighters are eager to create a historic hell for Americans on Iranian soil."
The source indicated that in addition to the more than one million regular forces prepared for ground warfare, there is also a strong demand for participation from the civilian population. It was reported that thousands of young Iranians have flocked to registration centers of the Basij forces, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (Pasdaran), and the regular army in recent days to join the war.
Addressing the situation of the Strait of Hormuz, which is the lifeblood of global energy markets and currently kept closed, the military source sent a clear message against US attempts to open the strait: "The US wants to open the strait with moves that could be considered suicide operations. We have no problem; we are fully prepared to both allow them to implement this suicide strategy and to ensure that the strait remains closed."
THE POSSIBILITY OF GROUND OPERATION IS GROWING
As mutual airstrikes continue in the region, the possibility of ground operations has increasingly come to the forefront in recent days. It is assessed that the US is increasing its military presence in the Middle East, while Israel is accelerating its preparations for a possible large-scale operation.
Experts believe that a possible ground operation against Iran carries the risk of turning into a large-scale war that would involve not only the two countries but the entire region.
TENSION REMAINS HIGH AT THE DIPLOMACY TABLE
On the other hand, while the possibility of negotiations between the US and Iran occasionally comes to the agenda, no concrete progress has yet been made. The continuation of the parties' harsh rhetoric weakens the likelihood of a diplomatic solution.
