The Iranian Government Spokesperson Fatma Muhacerani made statements regarding Israel's retaliatory attack on Iran's military bases during a press conference held in the capital Tehran. Muhacerani said: "The Israeli regime recently violated international law by conducting an air strike against our country, and in this attack, 5 Iranians lost their lives. I thank the air defense headquarters that successfully countered the Israeli attack and prevented further assaults. In a terrorist act that occurred simultaneously with the Zionist regime's attack on our country’s eastern border, 10 security forces were martyred."
Muhacerani stated that the Israeli regime thinks it can disrupt the spirit of national unity within the country with these attacks, saying, "On the contrary, national unity within the country will increase. With the active diplomacy of our Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the enemy's plot has been thwarted, and many countries have openly condemned the attack. The source of tension in the region is the Israeli regime. We are not the war instigators, and we are in favor of reducing tensions in the region," she expressed.

Muhacerani emphasized the importance of meeting the country's defense needs, stating, "For this reason, a decision has been made to increase the military budget by more than 200%. Israel conducted this attack by violating our sovereignty. We have the right to legitimate self-defense, and we will exercise it at an appropriate time and in an appropriate manner. As our Religious Leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) has also stated, the decision on how Iran's power and will will be demonstrated to Israel will be made by the National Security Council and authorized institutions," she said.
