The Iranian National Football Team, which will face Belgium in Group G of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, was met with protests in Los Angeles. Demonstrators chanted slogans at the entrance of Iran's training facility and in front of the team hotel. Protests had also been held against Iranian players before their first match.
In the second match of Group G of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Iranian National Football Team, which will face Belgium, was met with protests in the USA.
ANOTHER PROTEST WELCOME FOR IRAN
The Iranian National Football Team, which came to Los Angeles from its camp in Mexico for the Belgium match to be played at Los Angeles Stadium, held its final training session at Carson Sports Park. Protesters, who learned of the team's training schedule, demonstrated at the facility entrance. The group, leaving the facility through another gate under heavy security measures, headed to their camp hotel, while protesters also went to the team's hotel. Demonstrators chanted slogans in front of the hotel where the team was staying.

The Iranian National Football Team faced New Zealand in its first group match in Los Angeles, and protesters had also gathered and chanted slogans in front of the team's hotel before that match.
