In a statement made by the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), it was reported that an oil tanker was hit in the Port of Bahrain, causing a fire. It was later reported that the fire was extinguished.
In a statement from the British maritime risk management company Vanguard, it was stated, "All crew members are safe and the tanker has been evacuated."
