Ersan Barkın, Sedat Peker's lawyer, made a statement regarding the matter for the first time. In a post on his X account, Barkın stated, "Recently, it has been frequently mentioned on social media that my client, Mr. Sedat Peker, is preparing to establish a political party through his relatives. At this moment, my client is not involved in the establishment of any political party. The formation frequently brought to our attention, named 'People's Voice Party', has no connection with my client, Mr. Sedat Peker."

I would like to inform the public that my client will not be responsible for any material or moral damages that those who join such formations, thinking they are part of my client's party, may suffer in the future. The official state institutions have also been informed about the same issue," he stated.
