Israel targeted the Shahid Reisi Nuclear Power Plant in Isfahan in its attacks on Iran. Following the attack, Isfahan's Deputy Governor Ekber Salihi stated, "There is no pollution that would cause concern stemming from this plant."
It has been reported that the Shahid Reisi Nuclear Power Plant in Isfahan was targeted in Israel's attacks on Iran, and there has been no nuclear leakage.
The clashes that began with Israel's attack on Iran continue. Following Iran's counterattack against Israel, Israel also continued its attacks on Iranian territory.
ONCE AGAIN TARGETING A NUCLEAR FACILITY
Israel, which targets nuclear facilities in Iran, has targeted the Shahid Reisi Nuclear Power Plant in Isfahan. According to Iran's official news agency IRNA, Isfahan Deputy Governor Akbar Salihi made a statement regarding the issue.
Salihi stated that an attack was carried out by Israel on the Shahid Reisi Nuclear Power Plant in Isfahan on Friday evening, and immediately after the attack, rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, and so far, no casualties have been reported.
"THERE IS NO ISSUE OF POLLUTION"
Addressing the possibility of radiation leakage from the nuclear power plant, Salihi stated, "There is no pollution that would cause concern originating from this plant."
ISRAEL-IRAN CLASHES
On June 13, Israel carried out large-scale attacks targeting not only nuclear facilities in various cities of Iran but also the upper command echelon of the army.
While the Chief of Staff of Iran, the Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and some senior commanders, along with 9 nuclear scientists were killed in the attacks, the total civilian casualties were reported to be 78.
In the Iranian army's retaliation against Israel with ballistic missiles, at least 63 people were injured.
