Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz announced that the Israeli navy has destroyed the fleet belonging to the Syrian navy and has ordered the establishment of a defense zone in southern Syria.

While Israel's attacks on Syria continue, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz made statements during his visit to the naval base in Haifa, Israel. Katz announced that the Israeli Navy successfully destroyed the fleet belonging to the Syrian Navy last night as part of a large-scale operation aimed at eliminating strategic threats in Syria.

THEY WILL ESTABLISH A DEFENSE ZONE

Katz stated that Israeli forces have settled in the buffer zone between Syria and the Golan Heights, and he said he has instructed the army to establish a "defense zone" in southern Syria without a permanent Israeli presence to prevent any threats to Israel. Katz warned the leaders of the opposition groups that overthrew the Assad regime in Syria, saying, "Those who follow Assad's path will end up like Assad."
