It was claimed that Israel conveyed a message to the United States that it could launch a unilateral attack if Iran crosses the 'red line' set by its ballistic missile program. Relevant security sources emphasized that this threat poses an existential threat to Israel, while another security source described the current process as a "historic opportunity" to deal a heavy blow to Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure.

It was claimed that Israel conveyed a message to the United States that it could launch a unilateral attack on Iran if the Tehran administration crosses the "red line" they have set regarding its ballistic missile program.

According to a report by The Jerusalem Post based on Israeli security sources, Israeli defense officials informed their American counterparts that Iran's ballistic missile program poses an "existential threat" to Israel and that they are prepared to act unilaterally if necessary.

ISRAEL: WE WILL ATTACK ALONE IF NECESSARY

It has been reported that Israel opposes an agreement that excludes Iran's ballistic missile program and focuses solely on limiting nuclear activities.

An Israeli security source speaking to the newspaper stated, "We told the Americans that if Iran crosses the red line we have set regarding ballistic missiles, we will attack unilaterally."

"A HISTORIC OPPORTUNITY"

The source indicated that Iran has not yet crossed this threshold but noted that developments in Tehran are being closely monitored, asserting that Israel retains its "freedom of action" and will not allow the Iranian administration to make "strategic weapon systems" operational that threaten Israel's existence.

Another Israeli security official quoted in the report described the current process as "a historic opportunity" to deal a heavy blow to Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure.

SHARED ATTACK PLANS

The report stated that in high-level contacts with their American counterparts in recent weeks, Israeli officials expressed their intention to eliminate Iran's missile production infrastructure, and military officials shared plans for attacks on critical production facilities to disrupt Iran's ballistic missile program.

An Israeli military official speaking to the newspaper said, "What is concerning is the declaration of victory after a few targets are hit and leaving Israel to deal with the consequences that will arise afterward."

MAJOR GENERAL TO JOIN NETANYAHU'S VISIT TO THE U.S.

The report also noted that during Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's visit to the United States, Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Omer Tishler is expected to be part of the delegation.

It is stated that Tishler will participate in the discussions representing Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir due to the absence of a defense attaché in Washington.
