In the West Bank under Israeli occupation, illegal settlers dumped sewage waste onto Palestinian agricultural lands, damaging many crops, especially grapes. Activists stated that this was a deliberate attack targeting Palestinian agriculture.

In the West Bank, where Israel continues its occupation, illegal Israeli settlers dumped sewage waste on Palestinian agricultural lands near the town of Beit Ummar, damaging the vineyards and orchards of farmers preparing for the grape harvest.

SEWAGE WASTE DUMPED ON AGRICULTURAL LANDS

In the Israeli-occupied West Bank, attacks by Israeli settlers on Palestinian agricultural lands continue. Large amounts of sewage waste were dumped on Palestinian agricultural lands near the town of Beit Ummar in the southern West Bank, originating from the illegal Israeli settlement bloc of Gush Etzion.

The wastewater dumped on the agricultural land caused significant damage to vineyards and orchards planted with grapes, apples, and almonds. The incident occurred as Palestinians were preparing for the harvest season of grapes, the country's second most important agricultural product after olives.

Activist Yousef Abu Maria, who works against the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements, stated that Israeli settlers dumped sewage waste on agricultural lands to destroy Palestinian agriculture as the grape season approaches.

"THEY ARE TRYING TO PREVENT PALESTINIANS FROM EARNING INCOME FROM THE LAND"

Abu Maria noted that the settlers' goal is to prevent Palestinians from accessing the lands they have worked on for a year and await the harvest, and from earning income from these lands, adding that the Israeli occupation aims to increase the poverty level in Palestinian society.

Abu Maria called on international legal bodies and the international community to pressure Israel to stop its violations against the Palestinian people.
