The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul broke a record by surpassing 14,000 points. Analysts see 14,000 points as a resistance level.
The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul broke a record by exceeding 14,000 points.
Yesterday, the BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul, which followed a selling-weighted trend, finished the day down 0.07% at 13,787.82 points.
At the opening today, the BIST 100 index had risen by 7.19 points and 0.05% to 13,795.00 points compared to the previous close. While the banking index gained 0.40%, the holding index lost 1.12%.
THE MINING SECTOR ROSE THE MOST
Among the sector indices, the mining sector was the most profitable with a gain of 0.78%, while the holding sector was the most declining.
ANALYSTS SEE 14,000 AS A RESISTANCE POINT
Analysts stated that technically, the resistance levels for the BIST 100 index are at 13,900 and 14,000 points, while the support levels are at 13,700 and 13,600 points.
