UP TO 24 YEARS IN PRISON IS REQUESTED
In the incident that occurred on Friday, January 24, 15-year-old Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi, the son of Italian chef Andrea Minguzzi and cellist Yasemin Akıncılar, was stabbed 5 times by B.B. during shopping at the historic Tuesday market in Kadıköy. U.B., who was with him, kicked Minguzzi, who was left on the ground in a pool of blood.
Mattia Ahmet Minguzzi passed away in the hospital after fighting for his life for 14 days. The Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office prepared an indictment against the murder suspects for the crime of "deliberately killing a child," requesting a prison sentence of 18 to 24 years.

THREAT MESSAGES TO THE FAMILY
Meanwhile, Ahmet Minguizzi's family filed a criminal complaint, claiming they had been threatened. It has emerged that the Minguzzi family has been receiving threat messages for almost two months and has been threatened with death and abusive messages by some social media users claiming to be friends of the attacker.
The family's lawyer, Rezan Epözdemir, filed a criminal complaint with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, requesting a public lawsuit to be opened.
