The provinces in Turkey where housing prices have increased the most have been identified. Accordingly, in Bingöl, Elazığ, Malatya, Tunceli, Van, Bitlis, Hakkari, and Muş, the rate of increase in housing prices rose by 46.7%. Among the three major cities, Ankara took the lead.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) announced the Housing Price Index (HPI) data for March. Accordingly, the HPI, which increased by 2.0% compared to the previous month in March, rose nominally by 32.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, while it decreased in real terms by 4.2%.

The Housing Price Index, calculated to track the price changes of housing in Turkey adjusted for quality effects, reached a level of 174.0 in March 2025, increasing by 2.0% compared to the previous month.

When evaluating the developments in the housing price indices of Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, an increase of 2.5%, 1.9%, and 3.8% was observed in March 2025 compared to the previous month, respectively. The index values showed an increase of 30.7%, 38.6%, and 32.5% compared to the same month of the previous year in Istanbul, Ankara, and Izmir, respectively.
