HE HAD ANNOUNCED ON JULY 24 BY ASKING "ARE YOU READY TO WRITE HISTORY AGAIN"?
Seydi Ahmet Keleş, who previously served as the CHP Oğuzeli District Chairmanship and resigned from his party, had announced on July 24 that he joined the ranks of the New Party.
In his post after wearing the party badge, Keleş used the statements, "Are you ready to write history again? Today is the day of a new beginning, a new hope, and the belief in a common future. We are setting out under the roof of the New Party with an understanding of justice and democracy."
HE HAD REACTED HARSHLY TO THE NULLITY DECISION: MY CHAIRMAN IS ÖZGÜR ÖZEL
Seydi Ahmet Keleş had harshly reacted to the "absolute nullity" decision that caused debates in the CHP, and in his statement, he stated that he did not accept the disregard of the organization's will, saying, "My Chairman is Özgür Özel, who was elected with the votes of our congress delegates."
While the reason for Keleş's bloody attack on the deputy he met under the roof of the same political party is being investigated, security forces continue their extensive investigation into the incident.
