As a result of investigations coordinated by the Department for Investigation of Unsolved Crimes, established by order of Justice Minister Akın Gürlek, it has been revealed that the death of Abdullah Uslu in Marmaris, Muğla, which was previously ruled an accident three years ago and dropped, was actually a murder. Statements such as 'At least they won't call me a professional killer' shed light on the murder. Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident.
Then Suna Uslu and Hanife Ayaydın were arrested. Ergin Ayaydın and Yüksel Kartal were released under judicial control. Legal proceedings were initiated against the suspects on charges of 'intentional homicide'.
When expert reports, forensic findings, communication records, and confessions were brought together, it was revealed that Abdullah Uslu's death was not a simple accident, but rather strongly suspected to be a murder.
