Deputy Chairman of the İYİ Party, Dr. Cenk Özatıcı was a guest of Gökay Kalaycıoğlu on the Haber Bahane program in the Haberler.com studio. Answering questions related to the agenda, Özatıcı stated that they do not appreciate the political atmosphere Turkey is in as the İYİ Party. Özatıcı said: "I have a problem with the established order. I have a problem with the political institution. I believe that the political institution needs to change. The country sees that individuals who consider themselves as opposition actors sometimes act as a shadow of the government. People see this, and we cannot hide it." Özatıcı from the İYİ Party continued his statements as follows: "Think about Turkey's most chronic diseases. In my opinion, it is nepotism, favoritism, or cronyism. There is a mentality of 'I have a cardholder relative.' None of these diseases emerge spontaneously within the state. These diseases start within political parties and then infiltrate the state. Because the political parties law gives political parties such authority that in the long run, it creates an oligarchy, and because of that oligarchy, loyalty and obedience begin to be sought instead of ability and merit within that party. Incompetence starts here and then reflects on the state. We will overthrow the rule of the elderly."
