The Ankara Governorship announced that the Turkish Stars will perform a rehearsal flight on July 5 and a demonstration flight on July 6 as part of the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government. The Governorship called on citizens not to be alarmed by the aircraft noise and air traffic that may occur due to the flights over Ankara and the Presidential Complex between 15:15 and 15:30.
The Ankara Governorship warned citizens about the rehearsal and demonstration flights to be carried out by the Turkish Stars within the scope of the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit. The statement requested that citizens not be alarmed by the aircraft noise and air traffic that may occur during the flights.
In a statement on its social media account, the Ankara Governorship announced that the Turkish Stars will perform rehearsal and demonstration flights over Ankara skies within the scope of the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit.
DATES OF REHEARSAL AND DEMONSTRATION FLIGHTS ANNOUNCED
According to the governorship's statement, the final rehearsal flight planned by the Turkish Stars team will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, and the demonstration flight will take place on Monday, July 6, 2026.
The flights will be conducted over Ankara and the Presidential Complex between 15:15 and 15:30 on both days.
"NO ALARM SHOULD BE EXPERIENCED"
In the governorship's statement, it was noted that the aforementioned flights will be carried out within the scope of planned activities, and the following expressions were included: "The demonstration flight planned by the Turkish Stars team within the scope of the NATO Heads of State and Government Summit will be conducted over Ankara and the Presidential Complex on Sunday, July 5, 2026 (final rehearsal flight) and Monday, July 6, 2026 (demonstration flight), between 15:15 and 15:30. The said flights will be carried out within the scope of planned activities, and this information is presented to the public so that our citizens do not experience any unease due to possible aircraft noise and air traffic."
