Journalist Barış Pehlivan's ex-girlfriend filed a criminal complaint against the famous journalist, claiming that he harassed her after their breakup.

"WANTED TO RECONCILE AFTER THE BREAKUP"

According to the statement given by the woman named B.A. to the prosecutor's office on November 28, 2025, the couple broke up in October 2023, and Barış Pehlivan could not accept the breakup. Allegedly, Barış Pehlivan repeatedly called B.A. from different lines, saying he wanted to restart the relationship.

ACCUSATION: "BARİŞ PEHLİVAN GAVE MY NUMBER TO OTHER WOMEN"

While B.A. rejected this request, an attempt was made to infiltrate her Instagram account using her email address. B.A.'s allegations did not stop there. B.A. claimed that her phone number was distributed by Barış Pehlivan to other women she did not know, and that she received messages from these women.

PEHLİVAN DID NOT GIVE THE PHONE PASSWORD TO THE PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE

The Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Family, Violence Against Women and Sexual Crimes Investigation Bureau initiated proceedings against Pehlivan on charges of "persistent stalking" and "violation of privacy." Pehlivan, whose mobile phone was seized, did not give the password.

INVESTIGATION REMAINED INCONCLUSIVE

Since the phone could not be examined, sufficient evidence could not be obtained. It was decided that there was no need for prosecution on the grounds that the 6-month complaint period had expired and no sufficient evidence could be found.
