Justice Minister Akın Gürlek stated that the investigation into the helicopter crash that caused the death of Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu is being conducted from multiple angles. Minister Gürlek noted that actions have been taken against 29 suspects, with 19 individuals arrested, and that the confidential structure of FETÖ, the connection to Adil Öksüz, and ByLock records are being meticulously examined in the case file, adding, 'Wherever the investigation leads, it will be pursued to the end.'
Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek stated in a statement on his social media account that the investigation into the helicopter crash that occurred on March 25, 2009, resulting in the death of the late Great Unity Party Chairman Muhsin Yazıcıoğlu and his delegation, is one of the cases that left a deep mark on the nation's conscience.
Gürlek stated that within the scope of the multifaceted investigation conducted by the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, actions were taken regarding 29 suspects, 27 suspects were detained, 19 of them were arrested, judicial control measures were imposed on 8, and the other 2 suspects are currently in prison.
"THE DARK TRACES OF FETÖ ARE BEING INVESTIGATED"
Minister Gürlek stated that the file meticulously evaluates issues related to the covert structuring of the FETÖ/PDY, organizational connections, the link to Adil Öksüz, a key figure in the July 15 coup attempt, ByLock correspondence, and the fact that many suspects have been previously processed under FETÖ, and said:
"This file is not just about a painful event in the past; it is a file where the dark traces of FETÖ, which infiltrated the capillaries of the state to obscure the truth, are also being investigated. Our judicial authorities are resolutely continuing their efforts to reach the material truth within the boundaries drawn by law and in light of the evidence."
"OUR STATE WILL FOLLOW THROUGH WITHIN THE LAW"
Emphasizing that the investigation is being pursued with determination, Gürlek said in his statement: "I particularly want to express this: No matter where the investigation leads, our state will follow through to the end within the law. No doubt will be left unanswered, and no organized structure will be allowed to override our nation's expectation of justice."

Gürlek, in his statement, thanked the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the Ankara Provincial Police Department, and all public officials involved in the process for meticulously conducting the investigation.
