Kayserispor President Ali Çamlı's striking words to the referee:

01.10.2024 09:40

Ali Çamlı, the president of Kayserispor, who lost 3-0 to Beşiktaş in the Trendyol Super League, requested that referee Atilla Karaoğlan not be assigned to their next matches. Criticizing the referee's decisions and calling on the federation, Çamlı stated, "Let them be happy. Let them be very happy. But no one can do anything to Kayserispor despite the referee. This is a very big community. None of them can do anything. If anyone has the guts, let them come out. Let's talk like men. The referee, the federation, it's all just a story. If they are brave, they will come out."

In the 7th week of the Trendyol Super League, Kayserispor, who lost 3-0 to Beşiktaş, requested that President Ali Çamlı not be assigned to the matches they will play in the future.

THE REFEREE PERFORMED WELL

After the match, Çamlı congratulated Beşiktaş for their victory in a statement to reporters outside the stadium. Evaluating the referee, Çamlı said, "I also congratulate the referee. He performed his duty well. I truly congratulate him. I want to call on the federation and the MHK from here. If they assign this referee to our matches, then I will speak differently."

"IF THEY ARE BRAVE, THEY WILL SPEAK"

Çamlı stated, "Please do not assign him. I mean, this referee gave a foul when two Galatasaray players collided last year. He turned around, and that ball became a goal for us. We lost the match. In the Sivas match, the VAR referee canceled a legitimate goal for offside. I congratulate him. I would not let Atilla Karaoğlan officiate a match in the amateur league. If they do not want to ruin Turkish football, they should be careful with these referees. Of course, Fener won, Galatasaray lost points, Beşiktaş needed to get 3 points. They did, I congratulate Beşiktaş."

Çamlı, who said, "The football we played in the first half probably scared the referee, so he performed his duty well. I congratulate him," added, "Let them rejoice. Let them be very happy. But no one will be able to do anything to Kayserispor despite the referee. This is a very big community. None of them will be able to do anything. If anyone has the guts, let them come out. Let's talk like brave people. The referee, the federation, all of them are just stories. If they are brave, they will come out. They will talk about these referees. They will comment on that penalty. They will comment on what he did not give. Then we will talk."
