Speaking at the "Commemoration Ceremony of Prophet Noah" held on Mount Cudi, Turkish Parliament Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş addressed the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, stating that a roadmap has been presented with the report prepared by the National Solidarity, Brotherhood and Democracy Commission. "Before the end of this summer, the necessary actions required by this report will be carried out. With the complete disarmament and dissolution of the terrorist organization, along with the laws to be enacted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly, this issue will be completely left behind," he said.

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT) Numan Kurtulmuş, under his auspices, attended the "Commemoration Ceremony of Prophet Noah" held in the Sefine region of Mount Cudi in Şırnak.

“WITH THE PERMISSION OF ALLAH, WE WILL MOVE AWAY FROM ALL DIFFICULTIES AND ALL HARDSHIPS”

Kurtulmuş began his speech here by saying, "Servants of the Almighty Allah, the owner of the East and the West, the Lord of Turks, Kurds, Arabs, and all mankind, the possessor of the Throne and the Pedestal, the universe and all creation, dear Muslims, I greet you all with respect and love, welcome, you have brought grace."

Expressing his pleasure at being in Şırnak, the city of Noah, Kurtulmuş said that the story of Prophet Noah, as revealed in the Holy Quran, is one of the most important stories from which to draw lessons.

Stating that Prophet Noah's ark, which ran aground here, is not just a physical ship but a symbol of salvation and a destination for deliverance, Kurtulmuş said, "Those who boarded Noah's Ark are people who were saved not only from the flood but also from transgression, that is, rebellion against the Lord. Therefore, by understanding, internalizing, and advancing on the path of the lessons taught in the story of Prophet Noah, we will, with the permission of Allah, move away from all difficulties and all hardships."

Kurtulmuş stated that they believe in the message brought by Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad without having seen them, and said, "Blessed are you who live in a land where the footsteps of Prophet Noah exist, where he supplicated to his Lord, following his path and possessing the faith he brought. May Allah grant that many people who walk in the footsteps of Prophet Noah, Prophet Abraham, Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus, and Prophet Muhammad come to these lands and live here until the Day of Judgment."

“WE WILL, GOD WILLING, ALL TOGETHER CLING TIGHTLY TO THE ROPE OF ALLAH, CLING TO BROTHERHOOD, CLING TO UNITY, TOGETHERNESS”

Kurtulmuş stated that the people of Şırnak and Cizre have all embraced this beautiful land together and expressed his pleasure in seeing people walking to the region traditionally known as the landing site of Noah's Ark. Wishing that everyone's prayers would be accepted, Kurtulmuş stated that the primary teaching of all prophets is "unity."

Kurtulmuş continued his words as follows: "We also obtained extremely important mottos from Noah's Ark. There we learned patience, wisdom, solidarity, salvation, and resurrection. Almighty Allah says in the Holy Quran, 'O you who believe, hold firmly to the rope of Allah, be united, do not become divided, do not be disunited; as servants of Allah, all together hold fast to the rope of Allah.' Holding fast to the rope of Allah is undoubtedly a metaphorical meaning. It means clinging to truth and reality. It means clinging to fairness, conscience, justice, mercy, and humanity. Holding fast to the rope of Allah means accepting your brother beside you, regardless of his ethnic origin, family, lineage, or mother tongue, as a servant of Allah and a Muslim brother, and considering every Muslim brother as dear as yourself. God willing, we will all together cling tightly to the rope of Allah, cling to brotherhood, cling to unity, togetherness. Because among the 86 million people of our nation living in this country, there is no separation or distinction. Our past is one, our future is one, our destiny is one, our present is one. There is nothing that can separate us from one another. Our customs, traditions, the words we use, our sentences, our mourning, our weddings, our halay dance are all one. Within so much unity, through unity, by clinging to the rope of Allah and brotherhood, we will become much stronger."

"WITH OIL PRODUCTION EXCEEDING 80 THOUSAND BARRELS, ŞIRNAK GABAR HAS BEEN ENLIVENED"

Kurtulmuş recounted that last year they attended a ceremony in the region where oil was extracted in Şırnak Gabar with nearly 40 deputies, and continued: "Thank God, today Şırnak Gabar has been enlivened with oil production exceeding 80 thousand barrels. In those mountains, once it was not even possible for people to have a picnic, walk, or pass through, let alone extract oil. Thank God, we are here today. We are in the City of Noah, under the spiritual shadow of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him), at the commemoration ceremonies of Prophet Noah. Tens of thousands of our brothers attended these ceremonies. If Allah grants life and opportunity, the mosque whose minarets you see above will, God willing, be opened with the ceremonies we will hold here next year. If Allah grants life, we will place the ceremonies we will hold here next year fully under the auspices of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and ensure their continuation as a tradition in the following years."

"WE WILL SING SONGS OF BROTHERHOOD IN THESE MOUNTAINS, THESE PLAINS, THESE CITIES"

Stating that the sounds of mourning and laments from drums will no longer rise in these mountains, and that the sobs of mothers mixed with tears will no longer blend into songs and dirges, Kurtulmuş said, "In these mountains, these plains, these cities, in every inch of Turkey, we will sing only songs of brotherhood, perform halays, express our unity, and express our solidarity."

Kurtulmuş emphasized that these mountains would henceforth become lands where peace, brotherhood, humanity, tranquility, and the future would be built.

“NECESSARY ACTIONS FROM THIS REPORT WILL BE TAKEN BEFORE THE END OF THIS SUMMER”

Providing information about the work of the National Solidarity, Brotherhood, and Democracy Commission, which was established in the GNAT last summer and produced a report after successful negotiations, Kurtulmuş stated that the commission's report presented a road map agreed upon by all parties.

Kurtulmuş stated, "Now, with Allah's permission, the necessary actions required by this report will be taken before the end of this summer. With the complete disarmament and dissolution of the terrorist organization, along with the laws to be passed in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, this issue will be completely left behind, and unity and togetherness will prevail in this country."

"THE LORD OF THE KURD IS ONE, AND THE LORD OF THE TURK IS ONE”

Stating that the commemoration ceremony of Prophet Noah could not be held since 1984, and that thousands of children of the homeland have been martyred since that day, Kurtulmuş said that those who were given weapons and bombs produced by others were sent to the mountains at a very young age, and many of them died in the mountains.

Kurtulmuş continued his remarks: "The Kurdish have one Lord, the Turkish have one Lord. There is no cultural or belief characteristic that distinguishes a Kurd from a Turk. Now our Kurdish Ahmet and Turkish Mehmet will be side by side in the same classroom, work in the same factory, be children of the same country, and together strive to prepare for a better future.

Kurtulmus: Türkiye without terrorism

“NONE OF OUR PEOPLE WILL EVER BE VICTIMS OF TERRORISM”

There is nothing that distinguishes the children of Saladin Ayyubi from the children of Kilijarslan or Alparslan. There is not even a letter's difference between the ideas of Ahmed-i Khani, Molla Ahmed-i Jaziri, and Faki-i Tayran and those of Yunus Emre and Mevlana Jalaluddin. We will never lose such a great unity and solidarity for the sake of buttering someone else's bread. We will protect our brotherhood, unity, solidarity, and togetherness like the apple of our eye. As long as we are united, together, and our hearts are kneaded with brotherhood, I believe, with God's permission, no child in this country will ever encounter terrorism, and none of our people will ever be victims of terrorism. "

Expressing that in the coming period, they will collectively demonstrate the will for brotherhood, peace, and coexistence in Sirnak, which will develop much more strongly, Kurtulmuş said, "May God keep our unity and togetherness eternal. I pray that God grants us to walk in the direction shown by the spiritual leaders present in every inch of this country, in the direction shown by the children of the City of Noah, Prophet Noah (Peace Be Upon Him), and the handful of believers with him."

After Kurtulmuş's speech, the President of Religious Affairs, Safi Arpaguş, recited a prayer, and doves were released with olive branches in hand as a symbol of peace.

After the ceremony, the Group Tillo gave a concert.
