The incident occurred in the town of Gokcesu, affiliated with the Mengen district. According to the information obtained, in the Hurriyet Neighborhood, Tayfun Sonmez and his father Tahsin Sonmez wanted to fence off a small area that fell to their share in the garden of Ramazan Celik, who had a single-story house on a joint plot of land.
HE SHOT FATHER AND SON WITH THE SHOTGUN HE TOOK FROM HIS HOUSE
The Celik and Sonmez families, who were previously known to have a disagreement over the land, had their verbal argument escalate into an armed fight. Ramazan Celik shot the father and son with a shotgun he had in his house. Citizens who heard the gunshots reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
FATHER AND SON LOST THEIR LIVES, THE KILLER DISAPPEARED
Upon the report, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. Ramazan Celik disappeared after the incident. It was determined that Tayfun Sonmez and Tahsin Sonmez lost their lives during the checks made by health teams at the scene.
Gendarmerie teams took extensive security measures at the scene. After the public prosecutor examined the bodies, the lifeless bodies of the father and son were taken to the hospital morgue. Gendarmerie teams started efforts to catch Ramazan Celik, who had disappeared.
