Due to soil movement observed in the mountainous area of the Üzümlü district of Erzincan, a high landslide risk has arisen. SOIL MOVEMENT OBSERVED, "URGENT EVACUATION" WARNING ISSUED
Soil movement was observed in the mountainous terrain on the western part of the Kurt Yuvası location in Üçler Neighborhood and in the upper section of the Korkoru Stream.
Stating that there is a high landslide risk in the region, residents with structures in the lower part of the said area were asked to be urgently evacuated for the safety of life and property.
ROAD WILL BE CLOSED TO TRAFFIC
It was reported that the road passing by the Korkoru Stream will also be closed to traffic for security reasons.
Citizens were asked not to approach the area with landslide risk and to take the warnings of authorities into account.
