Landslide in Buyukcekmece: There are people trapped

A landslide occurred in the soil area between the coast and buildings in Istanbul's Buyukcekmece district. While it was learned that there are people trapped under the soil, teams have started search and rescue operations.

A landslide occurred in Buyukcekmece. Upon notification, fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Efforts have been initiated to rescue those trapped under the soil.

COASTAL ROAD CLOSED

The incident took place on the Buyukcekmece Mimar Sinan Coast. According to the information obtained, a collapse occurred in the soil area between the coast and the buildings. The sliding soil partially closed the coastal road.

SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATION LAUNCHED

Meanwhile, citizens on the coast experienced panic. Upon notification, police, health, and numerous fire brigade teams were dispatched. Rescue teams were sent to the region. It was learned that there are people trapped under the soil, and teams are continuing their work at the scene.
