The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that since March 2, the number of people killed in Israeli attacks has risen to 1,029, while the number of injured has reached 2,786.
Israel continues its intense attacks that began on March 2 against Lebanon. The Lebanese Ministry of Health provided information regarding the toll of the attacks in a written statement.
THE DEATH TOLL HAS RISE TO 1029
In the statement from the ministry, it was reported that the number of people who lost their lives in the attacks carried out by Israel since March 2 has risen to 1029, while the number of injured has reached 2,786.
The Ministry of Health had reported in its statement yesterday that 1024 people had died and 2,740 had been injured in Israeli attacks since March 2.
ISRAEL'S ATTACKS ON LEBANON
In a statement made by the Israeli army on March 2, it was noted that sirens were activated in the northern part of the country after detecting missile launches from Lebanon.
Later, the Israeli army announced that it had launched airstrikes across Lebanon and decided to expand its ground invasion in Lebanon, targeting the capital Beirut with intense attacks from the air and sea.
The Disaster Management affiliated with the Lebanese government announced that the number of people forcibly displaced in Lebanon due to Israel's invasion and attacks has officially exceeded 1 million.
