Different prison sentences were requested for the other 26 suspects on various charges. The indictment was sent to Istanbul Anatolian 2nd Heavy Penal Court. LETTER FROM DILAN POLAT: THEY ABANDONED ME TO DEATH HEREDilan Polat, who will remain in custody until September 4th, sent a letter to her mother-in-law from prison. Expressing her frustration with her current situation, Polat used the following statements in her letter: "They are oppressing us in front of the public. They are unjustly separating us from our children. We are being tried without a single piece of evidence in the indictment. We are innocent. They are torturing and oppressing us. We will be deprived of our children for months based solely on false witness statements in the indictment. They abandoned me to death here. If something happens to me, I can no longer bear it. I do not forgive any of them. I have no strength left to endure the longing for my children. I can't bear this injustice anymore. I do not forgive them. May God hold you accountable. I am dying separately from my children. You separated us here unjustly and without cause." "YOU HAVE BEEN TORTURING US FROM THE BEGINNING, I DO NOT FORGIVE YOU"You called our family an "organization". You turned our family business into an "organization". You called our hard-earned money "dirty money". All the reports have arrived. You oppressed us, called it media pressure. You separated us from our home overnight, took videos and photos, and shared them with the media with false accusations. You have been torturing us from the beginning. My freedom is insignificant. You unjustly separated us from our children, without any guilt. And you still continue, there is no end to it. A mother should not be subjected to such oppression. All the reports are available. The prosecutor requested my release, but I am still separated from my children unjustly. I do not forgive anyone who took away my rights." Mother-in-law Şükran Polat shared Dilan's letter with the note "I received a letter from my daughter Dilan, my heart can no longer bear it."
