Levent İnanır, who was a guest on the “Red Line” program broadcast on Esra Ezmeci’s YouTube channel, said he would file a lawsuit, alleging that there had been negligence during the hospital and home care process of his uncle Kadir İnanır. While saying “I don’t think he was well cared for,” İnanır expressed that he still could not accept the master artist’s death.
Kadir İnanır’s nephew Levent İnanır made statements on the program he attended regarding his uncle’s final days and his will. İnanır stated that he thought Kadir İnanır was not well cared for during his recovery process and announced that they would resort to legal action.
“I CANNOT ACCEPT THIS DEATH” Levent İnanır, who said that in footage he shot in 2025 he saw Kadir İnanır walking accompanied by a physiotherapist, questioned his uncle’s death from pneumonia after about a year had passed. İnanır used the statements, “I do not accept this death; this is not a normal death.”
KADİR İNANIR - JÜLİDE KURAL Levent İnanır also alleged that he learned that Kadir İnanır was mistreated by caregivers and a driver at home. İnanır, claiming that his uncle did not eat during this process and was deeply hurt, stated that they would file a separate lawsuit regarding what happened. These statements were reported as Levent İnanır’s allegations.
HE SAID HE DID NOT BELIEVE THE WILL Levent İnanır, who also stated that he did not believe Kadir İnanır’s will, claimed that his uncle had wanted to grant him power of attorney in the past to manage his assets. His nephew, arguing that the will did not reflect İnanır’s true will, said they would take legal steps regarding the inheritance process. The hearing at which the wills were to be opened had been postponed to December 17 because notifications could not be delivered to some heirs.
