Lifeless bodies were found with a foul smell coming from the house! It turned out to be an inheritance murder following the mysterious death.

The incident in which an elderly mother and her son were found dead in their house in Istanbul was revealed when the postman, who came to the house, smelled a bad odor. The investigating teams, who deepened the investigation, determined that the suspicious deaths were murders and were committed by the eldest son of the house due to inheritance issues.

THE BAD SMELL COMING FROM THE HOUSE MOVED THE TEAMS

The incident occurred around 16:00 on Atatürk Mahallesi Çavuşbaşı Caddesi. Allegedly, the postman who came to deliver mail to the second floor of the building, noticing that the door was not opened and suspecting the smells coming from the house, informed the muhtar. The neighborhood muhtar, who could not get a response from the elderly woman and her son living in the apartment, reported the situation to the police, fire brigade, and health teams.

THEY ENCOUNTERED A TERRIBLE SCENE WHEN THEY ENTERED THE HOUSE

Fire brigade teams, who arrived at the scene upon the notification, broke the door under the supervision of the police teams and entered inside. The teams found two people lying motionless on the floor in the house. It was determined that these individuals had died after the examination by the health teams. The bodies of the mother and son were taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the police's investigation.

MOTHER AND BROTHER WERE KILLED IN AN INHERITANCE DISPUTE

The police teams, who started an investigation into the suspicious deaths and deepened their examinations at the crime scene, determined that the incident was a murder. Allegedly, it was learned that the unidentified other brother killed his mother and brother due to an inheritance dispute.

"THE SMELL IS STILL THERE"

Alaattin Çam, a resident of the neighborhood, who spoke about the incident, said, "The incident happened days ago, we just heard about it. We didn't know about it. The postman comes to the address, when no one opens the door, he informs the muhtar about the smell, and that's how the situation comes to light. The police teams came and conducted an investigation. The smell is still there. We heard that they were shot. Unfortunately, the son and his mother lost their lives. Our neighbors were good people. We never had any problems with them. May God have mercy on them," he said.
