The Sultanbeyli Youth and Sports Festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm with the participation of tens of thousands of citizens. Also hosting a meaningful event, thousands of balloons were released into the sky for Zeyd, a 4.5-year-old who beat cancer.
The Youth and Sports Festival organized by Sultanbeyli Municipality hosted a meaningful event. A special celebration was held for 4.5-year-old Zeyd, who was diagnosed with cancer at just 3.5 years old and regained his health after a challenging treatment process lasting about a year. Citizens did not ignore the announcements made days in advance.
TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE RELEASED BALLOONS INTO THE SKY
Zeyd and his family, who took the stage together with Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş, released balloons into the sky along with tens of thousands of people filling the City Square. Emotional moments were experienced in the square as the balloons covered the sky.

Sultanbeyli Mayor Ali Tombaş, stating that Zeyd achieved a success that sets an example for everyone, said, "This is what holding on to life means. At such a young age, he has held on to life, never lost hope, and fought to realize his joy of life and dreams here. We congratulate and applaud this little one. May God grant him healing, inshallah. We also thank the family greatly for their struggle. Because it is a difficult situation. In such a challenging situation, it shows that if you fight with life, no matter what, you end up winning in the end. We congratulate you."
"OUR LITTLE ZEYD WILL BE A BENEFICIAL CHILD TO OUR NATION"
Sultanbeyli District Governor Kemal Şahin, from the stage, conveyed his well-wishes to little Zeyd and his family, saying, "I thank everyone, especially the family, who contributed. May God grant health and wellness. May he be a good person for his homeland and nation, inshallah."
Mother Kader Bilgin, saying they were very happy about the program, stated, "We are very happy to have successfully overcome a difficult treatment process. The organization of such a beautiful program here today also made us very happy. I also thank our Mayor Ali Tombaş for his support and close interest."
