A woman named H.K., wanted for being a member of the terrorist organization TKP/ML-TİKKO, was caught in Istanbul as a result of a follow-up by gendarmerie teams. The suspect, referred to the courthouse, was arrested.
In the investigation conducted by the Tokat Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a woman named H.K., wanted on allegations of being a member of the terrorist organization TKP/ML-TİKKO, was apprehended in Istanbul as a result of monitoring by gendarmerie teams.
Teams from the Tokat Gendarmerie Command Counter-Terrorism Branch Directorate put a suspect under surveillance during efforts to expose armed terrorist organizations. Within the scope of the operations, the activities of a woman named H.K., who carried out activities on behalf of the armed terrorist organization between 1992 and 1998 and whose organizational ties could not be determined for approximately 34 years, were individually uncovered.
OPERATION AT RESIDENCE IN ISTANBUL
Teams that conducted months-long tracking to capture the suspect, who had evaded detection for years, carried out an operation at a residence in Istanbul on May 12. The suspect, caught and taken into custody during the operation, was arrested by the judicial authorities to which she was referred. The suspect was handed over to the Tokat Çamlıbel Closed Penal Institution on May 15.
