A social media post made by former Minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was arrested in the fund investigation, two days before the liquidation decision, has come back into the spotlight. Kaya's remarks, praising operations aimed at protecting citizens' budgets and the functioning of markets one day before transferring her shares, drew attention.

Within the scope of the fund investigation, it was reflected in the prosecutor's referral letter that former Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who was arrested, transferred shares knowing in advance of the liquidation decision, while her post praising market operations one day before the transfer and her subsequent hiding of this message drew attention.

Details continue to become clearer in the fund investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding transactions in capital markets. Within the framework of the investigation, the timing findings in the referral letter for arrest of former minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, who testified as a suspect and was then arrested and sent to prison, and her post before the liquidation decision came to the fore.

A 2 BILLION LIRA HEIST IN 5 MONTHS

According to information reflected in the investigation file, Kaya entered the fund with 163 million lira in April and exited it in September with 2.17 billion lira. While the official liquidation decision regarding the funds was taken on September 17, it was determined that Kaya disposed of her shares exactly one day before this decision, on September 16. The referral letter stated that the shares in question were not sold on the stock market, but were transferred to Tera Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. by wire transfer method, and the sale price was transferred to Kaya's account on the same day.

PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE: SHE TRADED KNOWING IN ADVANCE OF THE LIQUIDATION DECISION

In the referral letter sent by the Prosecutor's Office to the on-duty magistrate's court, emphasis was placed on the timing of the share transfer and organized relations. The letter included the following assessments: "Considering that the sale transaction here was dated September 16, that is, this transaction took place 1 day before the liquidation, that the suspect was in dialogue with Tera Group executives as stated, and that despite being a stock market investor for the first time, the investment amount was of high value, it is seen that the suspect knew the price movement range of the share and also carried out transactions knowing that the liquidation decision would be made."

SHE MADE A POST TWO DAYS BEFORE THE LIQUIDATION

The post made on September 15, just before the share transfer and liquidation decision, again drew attention. In her post, emphasizing steps aimed at protecting citizens' budgets and the functioning of the market, Kaya had used the following statements: "Against those who attempt every kind of scheme to make an expensive morsel pass down our nation's throat for their own interests, we have a strong cabinet under the leadership of our President and a strong state that does not allow injustice and unlawfulness. I congratulate these operations carried out under the leadership of our Ministry of Justice against those who set price and cost traps for our nation."

WHEN THE MATTER BLEW UP, SHE HID IT

After the transactions in the fund investigation, the share transfers and the 2 billion lira profit picture came to light, it was determined that the post in question had been hidden.
